Botong (Green and Blue) Twin Falls

This is the so called, “Botong Twin Falls” located at the EDC Bac-Man Geothermal Production Field Complex in Bacon (Sorsogon) – Manito (Albay). The falls are twin because they are close to each other; but they are actually two different falls with two different colors of water. Sometimes they call these falls “blue and green falls” because the color of their water. One of the two falls is almost green while the other one is almost blue. Water in the blue falls is originating in a typical stream of water while the green one is originating from a (geothermal) hot spring which is rich in minerals. The twin falls is located near the Botong Geothermal Power Plant.
