About Television Networks in the Philippines. According to 2002 Annual Report of National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), as of December 31, 2002, there are 225 Television stations broadcasting in the Philippines that is registered at the NTC. Twenty-three (23) of them are located in Metro Manila or National Capital Region (NCR), 75 in Luzon (excluding NCR), 48 in Visayas and 79 in Mindanao.
